This abstraction layer isolates the application, allowing it to function seamlessly with changes in the underlying operating system. Rimini Connect for OS consists of three components:
Software
We’ve developed a set of custom compatibility files and software that control how the operating system interacts with specific applications based on our extensive experience supporting enterprise applications and databases. Our solution supports new versions of operating systems that may be uncertified or incompatible for use with a particular software application version or release.
Configuration and Settings
With more than 1.5 million registry keys for Windows alone, the potential configurations for an operating system are mind-boggling.
